We live in SE Texas where your swimming pool can get as hot as the air. Our pool is in direct sunlight from 10-4 so it heats up pretty good. I had seen the commercial version of this chiller work at our gym so I knew it would work. We have three going in our 30,000 gallon pool and it keeps the day time high around 87-89. It depends on how cool the air gets at night. It is not unsual to start the morning off in the 80-83 range. In fact, the kids complained about the pool being too cold at 85. ? I think it feels great. My only complaint would be that sometimes the jets kick out the sprayer when the pool pump turns on. That happened last week and I was lazy and didn’t fix it for a few days. that meant only one mister was going, as one was laying at the bottom of the pool and one was not getting enough pressure. On those days the pool got up to 92! So you know it works. I have told my neighbors and friend about these.
